Alpha is a 12 week course that explores life and the Christian faith by bringing people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Alpha creates an environment where you can bring your friends, family and work colleagues to explore the Christian faith, ask questions, and share points of view.
Participants share the good news of the gospel in a friendly and informal environment. Meetings take place in someone’s home with everyone participating in a meal and then a video with topics that pertain to our faith. A small group discussion ensues after the video allowing everyone to have a spiritual conversation with others that explore life’s biggest questions in a safe and respectful way.
Alpha is looking to create a team: We need people to be greeters before meetings start and also a hospitality group to help organize meals.

Hi! My name is Becky Perrine and I was able to attend the ALPHA course last year. We began with Food and Fellowship and then watched a short video.
I highly recommend attending ALPHA. It’s a great opportunity to spend time with and get to know our Fellow Parishioners and share our Faith Stories in a cozy home environment.

My husband and I took part in an Alpha course in the summer/fall of 2019. Each week consisted of great food and great company. Throughout the Alpha program, I watched my husband grow closer to God. He is now Catholic but did not grow up in the Catholic faith so hearing his thought process on some of the topics was very interesting. I really enjoyed the
conversations we would have amongst our group. It was interesting to see how some people interpret things and it was also great to hear that some people see things the same way you do. We really enjoyed our Thursday nights with our Alpha group and would highly recommend it to anyone. The program will not only deepen your faith, but also will provide tools for you to speak about faith to other people. I’m sure we have all heard “Go, make disciples!” Alpha is a program that provides knowledge and topics to help discuss faith with
others.
