Description of Ministry:
The pastor, in consultation with the Pastoral Council Members, will effectively enable the parishioners of St. Bridget Church to cultivate missionary disciples of Jesus Christ in a loving, welcoming environment.
Mission/Purpose Statement:
The purpose of St. Bridget Pastoral Council is to support our pastor in his ministry, as well as provide counsel by investigating, pondering, and proposing practical conclusions.

Typically monthly, 2nd Wednesday of the month, school classroom 201.
Who We Are and What We Do
- Our year beings with adoration, reconciliation, a day retreat, Mass
- Prayerful and spiritually renewed
- We support Father in his commitment to parishioners
- Become more caring and attentive to our fellow parishioners acting as a liaison between them and Father
- Engage in discussions concerning Renewal and Missionary Discipleship (WIN – BUILD – SEND)
- Lead by example
- Acquire and/or engage in formation in leadership
- Lead another to certain ministries by naming their talents and understanding their needs
- We welcomed Bishop McClory to a meeting (2024)
- Fr. Declan McNichols attended a meeting concerning new ministries to the parish
How Can I Become A Member?
You must be:
- Nominated by a team member or fellow parishioner
- A practicing Catholic
- A parishioner of St. Bridget Church
- Complete the Discernment Process (the first two weeks of May)
- Agree to a 3 year term
